2011 Illustrators Australia 9x5 Exhibition

Each year around about November a little plank of ply arrives in the post with a theme and says "paint me".  This year's Illustrators Australia 9x5 Exhibition theme is "Rapture". Deeply moved by the subject and being a spiritual romanticist at heart, I raced to put aside my crochet, put on a camomile tea and set to working on the piece below.
